Day 1 August 17th (open to the public) 

8.30 – 9.00 Coffee 

9.00 – 9.10 Welcome to the workshop (Martina Huhtamäki) 

9.10 – 9.25 About the PLIS-network (Helga Hilmisdóttir) 

9.25 – 11.45 The participants/research groups of the network summarize their work

11.45–13.15 Lunch  break

13.15 – 14.15 Language counselor Anna Maria Gustafsson from the Institute for the Languages of Finland  (in Swedish)

14.15–14.20 Short break  

14.20 – 15.20 Panel discussion about linguistic borrowing: Gisle Andersen, Jan Lindström, Eeva Sippola & Eline Zenner (Elizabeth Peterson) 

15.20 – 16.00 Coffee and summarizing discussion
